A VPN, proxy, or CDN changes the public IP that the internet sees. The tool reports the IP visible to external servers right now, which can differ from the one your home ISP assigns to your router.

Q: Can I use these IPs for firewall allowlists?

Yes. If you need access through a firewall, provide the IP shown above (or both IPv4 and IPv6 if you have them). Just avoid changing networks (VPN on/off, mobile data, different Wi-Fi) after you send the IP.
